Two friends and an ambitious project
The first Aquapark BeFUN was created in 2017 by two friends, Aurélien and Simon.
This adventure was born from the desire to set up a common project, to share experiences and to transmit their taste for fun activities.
“For more than 15 years we have always formed a complementary team, in work, life, sport, or through the trips we made around the world”.
All these experiences have forged strong bonds between them, as well as their state of mind that you will find in the Aquaparks BeFUN: live original experiences, feel unique emotions, and share laughter with your friends !

Aurélien first obtained a degree in tourism and then started a career as a director in the animation sector which lasted several years. Meanwhile, he continued to invest more and more of his time in his true passion: Aikido.
After 10 years spent in the field of animation, he finally decided to take a break and to fully engage in Martial Arts and became a full time teacher recognized in the Aikido world, as well as one of the leaders of the Provence league of the discipline.
In spite of this success, Aikido is not enough for him anymore and he wishes to get back to team work and to start a new project. In 2016 he decided to create the company BeFUN with his childhood friend and to set up a first aqua park on the Miribel Jonage lake.
Today, as the seasons go by, he is sharing his time between his two passions: Aikido, its seriousness and its discipline and the Aquapark, its fun and its madness.
When you meet him, he might wear his kimono, or his life jacket, and sometimes even both at the same time… but don’t laugh too hard because I remind you that he is a 4th Dan black belt in Aikido and a 5-star Silver Vest 5 stars in Aquapark !

How could I summarize Simon’s career path in only a few lines ?
Simon does not seek recognition from others but simply does what he likes in life.
After his baccalaureate, he obtained a sports coach degree. Yet, he decided to stop to become a professional poker player for a few years, while continuing one of his other passion: camp counsellor during summer vacations.
After more than 10 years doing this and after many trips abroad, he finally decided to stop everything to go back to school and get a master’s degree. Thanks to his acquired experience and his usual rigor, he ended up being the valedictorian of his promotion.
Loving challenges, he started teaching in Seine-Saint-Denis and became a committed teacher.
In 2016 he decided to launch on a promising new adventure with his childhood friend by creating the company BeFUN and setting up the first Aquapark BeFUN on the lake of Miribel Jonage.

Surveillance
Our aquaparks are under surveillance 24/7. Moreover, they are supervised by a certified lifeguard during the opening hours to guarantee you an optimal safety at any time.
Equipment
We are committed to providing you with lifejackets from one of the world leaders "JOBE", certified, approved and controlled every year.
Care
At BeFUN, you will always be welcomed by human beings! You will find no robot nor instruction screen! A member of our team will brief you in French or English to show you the main safety rules, and of course to answer all your questions.
Use of quality materials
The modules of the aquapark are made up by Aquaglide (world leader in the field of aquaparks) and are distributed in partnership with the only approved supplier in France "BOAZ Concept".
Regulations
All our structures are checked every summer and assembled according to the official recommendations of manufacturers and distributors. In addition, every morning before the opening, our team does a complete check-up of a dozen safety points on the aquapark (such as anchoring, inflation, or the height of the or the height of the water...).
European standards
We are committed to using only equipment that complies with all current European approvals (REACH and ISO 25649 certification).
